Founded in 2008, Kaminario is currently registered in Newton, Massachusetts, and has its development center in Yokneam, Israel. The company has developed software for managing organizational storage systems based on flash memory. OurCrowd’s portfolio company ReWalk featured on CNN Money

OurCrowd portfolio company ReWalk, developer of the FDA approved ReWalk exoskeleton device, was featured on CNN Money. ReWalk is the developer of the FDA approved ReWalk exoskeleton device, providing paraplegics with an independent, natural walking experience that provides them numerous social, psychological, and physical benefits. ReWalk (RWLK) is the brainchild of Israeli scientist Dr. Amit Goffer who, after an ATV accident in 1997, became a quadriplegic. Goffer grew frustrated with the limitations of wheelchairs. “Once I realized there was not an alternative to the wheelchair, I couldn’t understand why,” said Goffer. He says he had always been an entrepreneur and he began prototyping the ReWalk in his garage. ReWalk raised $1,320,000 from OurCrowd investors in June 2013. Read more on CNN Money here.
